Martin Kierszenbaum

Martin Kierszenbaum is a GRAMMY-nominated songwriter/producer/musician who has worked with Sting, Madonna, Lady Gaga, t.A.T.u., Shaggy, Halsey, Far East Movement, Robyn, Mylène Farmer and more.
Kierszenbaum grew up in Argentina, Switzerland, the U.K. and various parts of the US absorbing diverse sounds and rhythms along the way. He studied piano and received a Music degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a Masters degree from the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Kierszenbaum's first release as a producer was the critically-acclaimed hip hop album "The Funky Record" by the rap duo Maroon, of which he was a founding member . After working as a music executive at PolyGram, Warner Bros. Records, A&M Records and Interscope Records, Kierszenbaum decided to launch his own Cherrytree Music Company in 2005 which he designed as a record label, management company and music publishing firm and a haven for progressive artists and genre-defying musicians.
Kierszenbaum has also managed 17-GRAMMY award winning rock icon Sting since 2016, Jamaican superstar Shaggy since 2019 and multi-instrumentalist Mike Einziger from Incubus since 2013.
Over the last 20 years with Cherrytree, Kierszenbaum has sold in excess of 40 million records and charted 5 songs at no. I on the Billboard Hot 100. At the same time, he has continued to write and produce music including the number one song "All the Things She Said" by Russian duo t.A.T.u., four songs on Lady Gaga's debut album "The Fame," Madonna's "Holy Water," and one of France's top-selling albums of 2015, Mylène Farmer's "Interstellaires."
Kierszenbaum has also released music under his own name and the pseudonym Cherry Cherry Boom Boom - the nickname given to him by Lady Gaga - notching two Billboard Dance Club Chart Top 40 hits.
Kierszenbaum wrote, produced and played on Sting's and Shaggy's GRAMMY award-winning Reggae album "44/876." He was also awarded a BMI Award for his songwriting contribution to Halsey's "Nightmare," one of the most-played songs of the year.
Kierszenbaum has produced Sting's last four albums including "The Bridge" on which he co-wrote two songs: "For Her Love" and "Rushing Water." He also produced and co-wrote Samantha Fish's "Faster" album which spent 3 weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Blues Chart.
Most recently, Kierszenbaum has been producing and co-writing the debut English album of platinum French-Italian singer-songwriter Giordana Angi as well as producing the forthcoming “Sting 3.0 Live” album which will be released on April 12th, 2025 for Record Store Day.
Kierszenbaum has also been working with Shaggy to develop the Jamaican superstar’s orchestral show premiering this month with the Pittsburgh Symphony at the prestigious Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
