DJ Dr Doom has been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years and with multiple awards and accolades in radio for the past 29 years in Jacksonville Fl! Aka Duuuuvaalll! His television appearances include being the resident DJ for the Straight Talk TV show, BET Rap City the Basement, & more. In addition to his busy radio schedule on 93.3 The Beat as an on air personality and as the mix show director, he is also currently doing the drive time Mix the 5 O’Clock Takeover Mon – Fri @ 5pm & Friday Nights # 1 rated weekend show Club 933 from 7pm - 9pm & also is the featured dj For 99.1 WQIK JAX #1 Country station. Along with this, Dj Dr Doom is also CEO of his own clothing brand Get Down Apparel, and is always busy creating celebrity mixtapes and helping independent artist take their careers to another level with events like his Independent Artist showcase that helps local talent in Jax & the surrounding areas be seen & heard! From 2018 to 2025 DJ Dr Doom has managed the extremely talented Grammy award writer/singer/ rapper / Actress “Kamillion” from Jacksonville rise from music to tv Fame and land the lead actress role on the HBO max hit Tv show Rap Sh”” (2 seasons created by Issa Rae) along with three other emerging Rnb & hip Hop artist Aqu@rius, K’eyla & Tsunami! He has been featured in magazines like The Ozone, Hits, The Fader Urban Network, E Mixshow, Don’t Think Twice, The Source, Billboard Magazine, R & R, Duval streets Magazine, and in 2019 voted #1 Club DJ In Jacksonville by the Folio Weekly magazine. He was featured in The Florida Times Union, Hip Hop Weekly and Most recently graced the Cover of the inaugural issue of Music Industry Magazine 2025 Winter issue and is also a member of some of the most Prestigious DJ organizations in the country, Mp3waxx Generals, The Core DJ’s & the Vatican DJ’s which boasts some of the nation’s top DJ’s in various formats. DJ Dr. Doom has recently shared the stage with Outkast, LL Cool J, Fantasia, The Roots, War, Doug E Fresh, Slick Rick, Goodie Mob, Isley Brothers, Erykah Badu, Charlie Wilson, B.O.B., Salt N Pepa, New Edition, Frankie Beverly & Maze, T.I., Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, and has brought countless other Hip Hop & RNB & Reggae Legendary artists to Jacksonville Fl for radio interviews and Shows and for the past 25 years and counting has served as the Music director & Official DJ of the National “Funkfest” concert tour & Now the Music director of the 2025 “RNB Picnic Coolerfest” Tour of 2025 and is Also the Personal Tour Dj For Comedian & Actor “NEPHEW TOMMY” OF the Steve Harvey Morning show!!
