Carleene Samuels is a creative producer working in the fields of film and event production.
She also is a talent manager for leading recording artists.
Ms Samuels is a go-to production manager for many foreign productions being shot on location in Jamaica. Her expertise spans the creative fields of photo, film and video production, talent management, concert
production, event planning and media services, for which she has been in employ with local and
international entities.
She supports a sizable client list of global production companies, media giants, corporate conglomerates and international celebrities. She works alongside acclaimed musicians and creatives as a consultant and connector of brands and projects, and has produced numerous events, music videos, magazine editorials, commercials and short films.
She is one of a small contingent of Jamaican film producers and project managers reputed for producing
work of a “first world” quality, often using “third-world” resources.
Her knack for injecting creativity into projects under her charge, despite the stark reality of their budgetary
constraints, has rendered her one of the most sought-after Jamaican based producers and helped her build an impressive international client list featuring such names as, Sony Records, Atlantic Records, Interscope, Warner Music, Apple Music, Burberry, Adidas, Nike, Levis, The Fader, New York Times Vice Media, Red Bull Media, MTV Networks Ms. Samuels owns and operates, Creative Source Productions which sports a steady clientele including musical heavyweights, Major Lazer, Jay Z, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Damian Marley, Koffee, Shenseea, Kano and global brands such as Live Nation, Hulu, Campari, Pepsi, Digicel, Sagicor and Sunshine Snacks.
She is invested in doing her part to maintain and accelerate the ever-growing expansion of Jamaica’s global
cultural impact. She is co-owner and operator of Dubwise Café, the reggae inspired food and event space in Kingston where she produces the popular live music bi-monthly event Sound Check. Her professional life allows her to spin her love for music, film, travel, yoga, food, culture, volunteering and social activism into soulfully curated creative projects, events, adventures and giving back initiatives.
Carleene received her Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from the University of the West Indies, Mona and a Master of Arts in Communications from the University Of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida.
